![]() If they don't send a refund to compensate for this, they could probably be leaving themselves liable for some non-positive feedback! Probably the former I suspect, obviously if someone accidently overcharges - they should realise when they look at the price paid by the buyer, and how much it actually cost them to send the package. Anyway I just thought it would be good to give a heads up for people to update their prices and that. Not suggesting that's the majority by any means though. It's understandable really but probably shooting themselves in the foot if you can offer a better deal.Īnd there's not really grounds for negative feedback there if a customer has agreed to stated prices. If there's a chance to make a few more pennies I'm sure they're not in a hurry to give that back to the punters. Of course I think sellers should charge fair postage prices - it's in all our interests really - but many do charge quite a bit over the odds and always have and it's not necessarily accidental. In an ideal world yes but I have to be at least a little cynical about this. I can't remember how much vinyl singles cost (a normal 12") is it about 200-250 grams? The cost of the packaging varies, but if there are only 6 weight bands it shouldn't be too tricky to work out as it is probably between 20 grams for one single, etc. They weigh about 70 grams each, so it shouldn't be too hard to work this out. I should probably make a chart showing how much it will cost for the postage for x number of CDs (probably just start with CD singles for now). Maybe we can help to do something about that, such as advertising the great savings to be made on postage if buyers order X number of items? Their statistics probably show they have very little posted in this band. If only we could get everyone to buy 1.499 kg of items -)ġ to 1.5 kg has for some reason been made the bargain band.
